Apex Predator is a Legendary Solar Rocket Launcher (heavy ammo) with the Adaptive Frame archetype and the Explosive Pact origin trait. Its curated roll is Quick Launch, High-Velocity Rounds, Snapshot Sights and Cluster Bomb. Random column 1 options include Reconstruction, Incandescent, Tracking Module and Demolitionist; column 2 includes Explosive Light, Bait and Switch and Vorpal Weapon. Reconstruction with Bait and Switch is rated S-tier for PvE boss damage, where it is the most-used Legendary rocket, and B-tier for PvP. Flavor text: "Is it you or I that tops the food chain, o challenger mine?"
Acquisition
Drops from Last Wish encounters and secret chests. It is craftable: 5 Deepsight Resonance extractions unlock the pattern. A weekly quest from Hawthorne rewards a Deepsight weapon. It can also be obtained through the Apex Predator (triumph). A Season 4 and a Season 21 version exist.
