Suraya Hawthorne

Overview

Suraya Hawthorne is a human sniper who left the Last City as a teenager and became a key figure in the Red War. Raised by Devrim Kay and his partner Marc, she chafed at the City's rules and spent years surviving in the European Dead Zone with her falcon, Louis.

When the Red Legion attacked the Last City she was gathering supplies elsewhere. She flew back to find the City fallen and rallied survivors at The Farm, a refugee haven in the EDZ that she helped establish. She worked with the Young Wolf and Devrim to set up communication beacons and destroy Fallen jammers, and later helped the Vanguard infiltrate the City. During the assault she hacked the power grids behind the Red Legion's energy barriers.

Tower

After the City's liberation she joined the Vanguard's leadership at The Tower, where she organised Guardians into clans and spoke for the City's non-Guardian citizens. The Tower's Guardians later gifted her a custom Jumpship. She is the Clan Steward in the Bazaar, where she hands out Clan Banners and weekly clan engrams.
