A Beautiful and Terrible Thing

Earn the Exotic Rocket Launcher Truth. Worth 20 triumph points. The title is the name of its original quest from Season of Opulence (requires Forsaken).

Current method

Buy Truth from the Monument to Lost Lights in the Tower courtyard: Light and Dark Saga Exotics, then Forsaken Exotics page 2, for 125,000 Glimmer and 1 Exotic Cipher. Exotic Ciphers come from Xur's weekly quest. You need the Forsaken pack or The Collection. The Reaper's Tithe catalyst is a separate random drop.

Original quest (2019)

Originally, complete the Menagerie to get "A Scrap of Paper", do an Ascendant Challenge with Petra Venj, collect four map pieces (Ascendant chests, Tangled Shore, Nessus, Nightfall), finish their challenges (Hive kills, Nightfalls with handicaps, rocket launcher kills, bounties), play the "Warden of Nothing" strike for five artifacts, then use a Tincture of Queensfoil and open the final chest.
