Scrap

Scrap is the currency of Onslaught. Enemies drop it, and it is earned from every fireteam member's kills, not only your own. Each player has a personal Scrap wallet, so purchases only draw on your own reserves. Scrap cannot be dropped or traded with your fireteam.

Scrap buys Vanguard emplacements that are built during the setup window before each wave, using holograms projected by the ADU. Emplacements can be upgraded for extra Scrap. If one is destroyed, all Scrap invested in it is lost and it must be rebuilt from scratch, though ADU Cores can heal emplacements. Examples include the Trip Mine (1,000 Scrap), the Sweeper Bot (2,000 Scrap) and the Scorpio Turret (2,000 Scrap). Upgrades cost 1,500 to 6,000 Scrap each, and raise each emplacement's damage or hit points.
