Hive

Overview

The Hive are an ancient species that worships the Darkness and lives by the Sword Logic. Each Hive is bound to a parasitic Worm that grants power and long life but demands constant killing. They were once the Krill of the gas giant Fundament, transformed after three siblings made a pact with the imprisoned Worm Gods.

Gods

The Hive are ruled by gods: Oryx (dead, killed in King's Fall), Savathûn and Xivu Arath. Oryx built the tithe system that moves power upward from Thralls to the gods.

Enemies

Common Hive enemies include Knights, which raise walls of Darkness; Ogres, whose eye is the weak spot; and Wizards, which shield themselves with Solar barriers. Guardians have faced them on the Moon and in Shadowkeep, where Eris Morn is their expert and the Hellmouth lies beneath the surface.
