Overview
The Helmsman is a Legendary Sniper Rifle in Destiny 2. It is an Arc weapon. Its flavor text reads: "Keen of eye. Steady of hand. Stalwart on the endless sea."
Uses the High-Impact Frame archetype in the energy slot with special ammunition.

Offered through Weekly: Vanguard Arms Rewards when listed by Commander Zavala. His current focusing covers tiered Ops gear, while Lord Shaxx focuses tiered Crucible gear.
Crafting and variants
This is a random-roll weapon without a crafting pattern. It has no legacy sunsetting Power cap; those caps were removed with The Final Shape.
Notable traits
Snapshot Sights speeds aiming down sights. Opening Shot improves the opening shot. Origin traits include Roar of Battle, Field-Tested.
