Legendary PsiOps Battleground: EDZ

Legendary PsiOps Battleground: EDZ is the Legendary-difficulty version of PsiOps Battleground: EDZ, one of the three PsiOps Battlegrounds introduced in Season of the Risen alongside Destiny 2: The Witch Queen. It is a three-player matchmade-style activity in the European Dead Zone against the Lucent Hive. The normal playlist is recommended at 1400 power while Legend is recommended at 1580; it rotates daily, has extra modifiers and has no matchmaking. The listed power level is 1550. Originally launched from the Tower / war table, PsiOps Battlegrounds moved into the Vanguard Ops playlist after Destiny 2: Lightfall and are only played when randomly selected. They were also used as Grandmaster Nightfall encounters.

Encounters and mechanics

Guardians have gone missing in the EDZ; hunt the Lucent Hive responsible. Each Battleground ends in a boss fight: after the first boss phase, a Psion triggers a Mindscape, Aspects of Savathûn are invulnerable except to the Synaptic Spear, and the boss dies once the Ghost-targeted final phase completes. Rewards

Seasonal weapons (Piece of Mind, Sweet Sorrow, Under Your Skin, Explosive Personality, Thoughtless, Recurrent Impact), the Tusked Allegiance armour set, and a Runic Chest opened with Psychogenic Intel.
