Battleground

Overview

Battlegrounds are seasonal arena activities built as strike-style missions with several encounters, bosses and collectibles. Earlier Battlegrounds came from Season of the Chosen, Season of the Risen (PsiOps Battlegrounds), Season of the Seraph (Heist Battlegrounds) and Season of Defiance (Defiant Battlegrounds). After their seasons ended, the content moved to the Destiny Content Vault, and some were re-purposed as strikes in the Vanguard Ops playlist.

Echoes Battlegrounds

Episode: Echoes Act 2 added three Battlegrounds, fought in Destiny 2: The Final Shape: Delve, which goes into recently activated Nessus wells; Conduit, which goes deeper underground to a Radiolarium collection facility; and Core, which breaks through the planet's crust to a Vex city. The Battleground node can roll any one of the three.
