Psion

Overview

Psions are psychically empowered beings conquered and enslaved by the Cabal empire, which uses them as engineers, pilots and fire support. They are smaller than most Cabal troops and are typically supporting or infiltrator units rather than cannon fodder.

Abilities

Psions have telepathy, limited clairvoyance and telekinesis, and can "join" several minds into one stronger entity. In Destiny 2 they wield Void-based attacks, fly with jetpacks and use slug rifles. Red Legion Psions use Void attacks, while Scout Legion Psions use Arc.

Types

• Psion Flayers: elite Psions with amplified powers who can teleport and split into copies.
• Freeborn Psions and Optus: rare free or ranked Psions.

Where they matter

Psions fight alongside Bracus officers and other Cabal infantry. Flayers appear as bosses, for example the Red Legion Flayers who tried to hijack the Sundial on Mercury.
