Autumn Wind is a Legendary Kinetic Pulse Rifle with a 540 RPM Rapid-Fire Frame, introduced in the Curse of Osiris era (Season 2). Its flavor text is a couplet about the "autumnal sun". Its stats lean toward stability over impact and range, which suits it to Crucible play.
Overview
Autumn Wind fires Rapid-Fire Frame bursts out of the Kinetic slot, so it keeps deep reserves and reloads faster from an empty magazine. It is rated B-tier for PvE and A-tier for PvP. A suggested PvP roll is Zen Moment with Headseeker, where body shots raise headshot damage. A suggested PvE roll is Demolitionist with Rampage. Alternative rolls include Rangefinder or Killing Wind with Headseeker, and Envious Assassin with Focused Fury. Rolls vary by season.
Acquisition
Autumn Wind is a Crucible reward: complete matches and earn rank-up packages from Lord Shaxx, and it drops from Crucible Ops. It was reissued during Season of Defiance. It is not craftable.
