The Deepening Wake

Overview

The Deepening Wake is a two-step Legendary quest from Eris Morn in Sanctuary on the Moon, added in Season of the Undying with Shadowkeep. Completing it unlocks the Pit of Heresy Dungeon. Time needed depends on the Altars of Sorrow public event, typically 20 to 40 minutes.

Walkthrough

1. Travel to Sorrow's Harbor on the Moon. At the Altars of Sorrow, reach at least Tier III by defeating Nightmares and other enemies, let the event end to spawn a Tier III+ chest, and open it. Also defeat 20 Nightmares. Group play is recommended.
2. Return to Eris Morn in Sanctuary and report your findings.

Rewards

• Access to the Pit of Heresy dungeon in Sorrow's Harbor.
