Outbreak Perfected

Outbreak Perfected is a Kinetic Exotic Pulse Rifle with primary ammo, the reward of the Zero Hour Exotic mission.

Overview

Its intrinsic perk creates SIVA nanite swarms on rapid hits and precision kills, and its trait "Parasitism" boosts damage based on attached nanites. It fires around 450 RPM with a 35-round magazine, and is craftable (the pattern unlocks from Deepsight extraction). It was originally released in Season 6 and re-released in the Into the Light era.

Acquisition

• Complete Zero Hour on any difficulty (found via the Exotic Archive at the Tower and the Into the Light tab). Zero Hour (Expert) also awards it.
• The first drop is a Deepsight weapon, which can be extracted for the pattern.
• Historically it came from the original Season 6 version of the mission. One wiki source credits "The Whisper" which looks like a mix-up; game data lists Zero Hour.

Catalyst

Clear Zero Hour on Legend difficulty (guides say the weekly rotating puzzles and Security Drones secret rooms need completing, roughly 3-4 weeks). The catalyst adds "Disease Vector": increased nanite damage, and enemies that die with nanites attached generate additional nanites.
