Grandmaster: PsiOps Battleground: Cosmodrome

Overview

Grandmaster: PsiOps Battleground: Cosmodrome is a triumph in Destiny 2. It requires completing the PsiOps Battleground: Cosmodrome activity on Grandmaster difficulty. The activity is an Arena battleground from Season of the Risen. Since Lightfall its missions are part of the Vanguard Ops playlist and only appear when that playlist selects them. The triumph awards no score or reward beyond its progress entry.

How to complete

1. Launch PsiOps Battleground: Cosmodrome on Grandmaster difficulty from Vanguard Ops when it is selected.
2. The Divide: escort the payload of Lucent Remains to breach the Hive nest entrance while clearing waves of Fallen.
3. The Breach: kill Hive Purifiers to collect Captured Light orbs, then deposit them at the marked area.
4. The Mindscape: damage Uul'nath, use Synaptic Spears to destroy the Aspects he summons at his health thresholds, and then destroy his Ghost to finish the fight.

Tips

• The Grandmaster version is very dense, with tight spaces and many Champions. Stay near cover and use area-of-effect abilities against groups.
• A community method uses a Polaris Lance fireteam. Players in the back land headshots to trigger the Perfect Fifth explosive shot, while a Nightstalker Hunter goes invisible to push the payload forward early. This is safer but slow, with one fireteam taking 35 minutes.
• Save heavy ammo and Supers for the boss phases.

Status

Update 9.7.0 deprecated Nightfall-related triumphs and metrics. Progress already earned was kept, but this triumph can no longer be earned. Grandmaster Nightfalls had already been removed as a standalone rotation with Update 9.0.0.1, when Nightfalls moved to a daily rotation, and Grandmaster now appears as a difficulty tier in the matchmaking portal.
