Captured Light

Overview

Captured Light is the Light that enemies hold in the PsiOps Battleground: Cosmodrome (The Breach). The objective is to dispel it: Hive Major enemies called Hive Purifiers drop Captured Light orbs when defeated.

Mechanic

Players carry the orbs to a marked deposit area inside the Hive nest. A Heavy ammo box is available to restock. Once all the Captured Light has been cleared, the path to the Mindscape opens and the fight with Uul'nath, Lightcleanser begins.

History

The Cosmodrome version was added in Patch 4.0.0.1 (February 22, 2022). It moved to the Vanguard Ops playlist with Lightfall in Patch 6.0.0 (February 28, 2023).
