Fish Pond

A Fish Pond is a fishing location from Season of the Deep. There are three, one on each of Savathûn's Throne World (Miasma), Nessus (The Cistern) and the European Dead Zone (Outskirts). Each one is marked by a light beam in the sky, and the map marker only leads to the general area.

Overview

A pond appears when no Public Event is active at its location and disappears when one starts nearby. It returns a few seconds after the event ends. Your Fishing Tackle recommends the pond that is currently the best spot.

Focused Fishing

Catching Legendary or Exotic fish fills the Focused Fishing meter, which is shown on the left side of the screen. As it fills, more fish are attracted to the pond and higher-quality catches become more likely. The meter resets when a Public Event appears, so it helps to start fishing as soon as a pond appears and to fish together with others.

Rewards

Legendary fish can be turned in at the H.E.L.M. aquarium for a chance at armor, materials, Exotics and Reckoning weapons. Reckoning weapons must first be found through fishing, and then their Deep Engrams can be focused at the Sonar Station vendor.
