Fishing was an activity introduced in Season of the Deep. Stand at a pond, hold Interact to cast, and press again the moment the prompt appears for a "perfect catch".

Bait comes from Salvage, Deep Dive, playlists, public events, patrols and planetary materials. A Focused Fishing meter fills as you fish and improves rare catches, so fishing in groups helps. The Aachen Cichlid is a Rare fish.
