Overview
Barotrauma is the story finale of Season of the Deep, the final step of the Into the Depths quest. It is launched from the destination map in the H.E.L.M.. Ahsa's signature has been detected beneath Kraken Mare on Titan, behind enemy lines; the Vanguard fears Xivu Arath has captured her. The listed power is 1800; an Abyss variant, Operation Fulgurite, also exists.
Encounters and mechanics
- Search and Rescue: break through enemy lines of Hive and Taken.
- Break the Taken Defense: reach the ritual site and defeat three Warsinger-class bosses, the "Screams of Xivu Arath".
- Purify the corrupted Egregore coral by depositing orbs to strengthen Ahsa; Iron War Beasts reinforce you.
After the rescue Xivu Arath briefly possesses Sloane, and Zavala helps her regain control. Saint-14, Lord Saladin and the Drifter support you.
Rewards
Completing it caps the seasonal story.
