Overview

Apex Predator is a Legendary Solar Rocket Launcher (heavy ammo) with the Adaptive Frame archetype and the Explosive Pact origin trait. Curated roll per Destinypedia: Quick Launch, High-Velocity Rounds, Snapshot Sights, Cluster Bomb. Random column 1 options include Reconstruction, Incandescent, Tracking Module and Demolitionist; column 2 includes Explosive Light, Bait and Switch and Vorpal Weapon. Blueberries recommends Reconstruction with Bait and Switch for PvE boss damage (S-tier, called the most-used Legendary rocket in PvE) and rates it B-tier for PvP. Flavor text: "Is it you or I that tops the food chain, o challenger mine?"

Acquisition

Drops from Last Wish encounters and secret chests. It is craftable: the Destiny Game Wiki says 5 Deepsight Resonance extractions unlock the pattern, and Blueberries notes a weekly quest from Hawthorne rewards a Deepsight weapon. Obtained via the Apex Predator (triumph) as well. A Season 4 and a Season 21 version exist per the Destiny Game Wiki; no Adept variant is documented in the opened sources.
