Amanda Holliday

Overview

Amanda Holliday is a human shipwright and pilot who worked as the Tower's Chief Shipwright in the Tower hangar in the Last City. She repaired Guardians' personal spaceships, sold new ships and Sparrows, and helped found the mainstream profile of the Sparrow Racing League. She hosted its races and helped pilots get licenses. She also worked with league pilots on Sparrow upgrades and new designs.

Services

Her ships and Sparrows sold for 5,000 Glimmer each, including the Nautilus Zero, Odyssey Zero, Echo Zero, Vector Zero, Minerva Zero and Leopard Zero, plus the Wayfarer Zero, Starchaser Zero, Moonrider Zero and Athena Victorious. She also ran Prime Gaming rewards and exchanged three Season 1 Rare Effects for a random Legendary Transmat Effect.

Air support

Amanda flew bombing runs on enemy positions during wars and dropped Guardians and supplies at the front lines. She flew her Hawk in major operations, including the Red War and the Endless Night, and later the Black Fleet conflict.

Backstory

She was born on the road to the Last City to a refugee family of scavengers. Her mother, Nora, carried the shotgun The Chaperone and died while crossing the Panama Ravine. Her father died about a half-day's walk from the City gates, leaving Amanda the only survivor of her family and group. The Vanguard raised her after her parents died, and she considers its members family.

Later career

Reported accounts say her removal from the Tower followed her involvement in the Season of Defiance storyline, and that her wares and services then moved to Master Rahool. A memorial to her stands in the Tower Hangar.

Appearances

She appears in Curse of Osiris, Forsaken (Season of the Forge), Shadowkeep (Season of the Worthy), Beyond Light (Season of the Chosen and Season of the Splicer), The Witch Queen (Season of the Risen and Season of the Haunted), and Lightfall (Season of Defiance). At Festival of the Lost 2018 she was the vendor, handing out rewards, masks and bounties. She gave Forsaken preorder bonuses after completing that campaign, and during Shadowkeep she offered new players the Red War, Curse of Osiris and Warmind campaigns.
