Zatocc, Devoted to the Witness

Zatocc, Devoted to the Witness is a Psion Flayer of the Shadow Legion and the warden of the Shadow Legion prison in the Cosmodrome. It first appeared in Season of Defiance and is the final boss of Defiant Battleground: Cosmodrome. Zatocc keeps its distance, knocks back close enemies and fires a Cabal Headhunter. At about a third of its health it raises an immunity shield and fills the arena with Dark Fetor, which damages Guardians. A Balefire creates a safe zone and summons Taken; players purify essences from glowing Ravenous Taken Vandals and throw them at Zatocc to break the shield. After the shield breaks, Zatocc can be damaged for another third of its health before it expels the fireteam. The last shield is removed the same way at a second Balefire, and draining the final third of its health completes the encounter.
