Dark Fetor

Overview

Dark Fetor is a hazardous effect associated with the Shadow Legion prisons. It is the Darkness-aligned danger that the prison wardens use to protect their captives.

Countering it

A Balefire is a device made by the Awoken that combines Light and Darkness. Lighting one safeguards the area around it from Dark Fetor, which is how Guardians stay safe while dealing with a prison's warden.

Location

The effect is found in the Shadow Legion prisons encountered during Defiant Battlegrounds. Source descriptions of the exact mechanics vary between sources, so check a current guide for details.
