Volundr Forge
Bring any Black Armory weapon frame or research frame to the Volundr Forge to be crafted.
Overview
The Volundr Forge is the first Black Armory forge, in Smidur's Cavern in the European Dead Zone (reach it via the Sunken Isle spawn, then head southeast). Its Forge Warden is Ghalak. Theme: the Rasmussen Clan's Nordic roots. Recommended power 750 per game data.
How to launch
The forge quests come from Ada-1 and Spider after the Forsaken-era Black Armory content began; you collect a weapon core and compound ether, get Hive multi-kills, then bring a Black Armory frame to the forge.
Mechanics
A three-player activity: kill shimmering blue enemies for batteries to charge the forge, survive waves, then defeat the boss. Bringing Whisper of the Worm is recommended, since it makes the boss flinch and stops shield regeneration.
Rewards
Power weapons: The Ringing Nail (auto rifle), Hammerhead (machine gun), Stryker's Sure-Hand (sword).
Status
Introduced in Season of the Forge. The forges were dismantled during Season of Arrivals.
