Void surge

Void surge is the Void Weapon Surge buff, the Void counterpart of Arc surge. Void kills build surge stacks: about two Void kills give x1, and a Void Powered Melee kill gives x4. The Doom Fang Pauldron exotic is one source. Each Weapon Surge stack raises the damage of Void weapons, up to x4. Leg armor mods also grant Weapon Surge stacks, one per mod, up to x3.

As of Episode: Echoes (August 2024), a Weapon Surge gave these bonuses:

Surge stacks last about 11 seconds in PvE and 6 seconds in PvP, and more kills refresh them. Values change between patches, so check the in-game mod text.
