Doom Fang Pauldron

Doom Fang Pauldron is an Exotic Titan gauntlet armor piece built around the Void Sentinel subclass.

Overview

Its intrinsic perk, Horns of Doom, lets Shield Bash melee kills recharge Shield Throw and melee ability kills recharge the Sentinel Shield Super; Void melee abilities also recharge faster. Flavor text: "Nobody calls it that." (a Warlock called them "Bio-Conductive Trouble Breakers" before a Titan renamed them.) Armor perk descriptions have been reworked since launch.

Acquisition

It debuted in Year 1 as a selectable reward from the Red War mission Riptide on Titan, alongside ACD/0 Feedback Fence and Actium War Rig, given by Sloane. Current listings show Exotic Engrams as a drop and an occasional Xûr sale (23 Legendary Shards). The game text says: Exotic engrams and extremely rare world drops.
