Void Caster

Overview

Void Caster is a Voidwalker build for PvE solo content. Its goal is to cover the battlefield with weakening Void Souls, gain grenade energy and generate Volatile Rounds.

Build

• Aspects: Feed the Void and Child of the Old Gods.
• Fragments: Echo of Instability, Echo of Undermining, Echo of Vigilance and Echo of Harvest.
• Abilities: Nova Bomb: Cataclysm, Vortex Grenade and Healing Rift.
• Mandatory Arms: Briarbinds from the Lost Sectors, which required Season 22. A Void primary weapon is recommended.
• Stats: Resilience, then Recovery.

Gameplay loop

Place a rift, then shoot an enemy to send out a Void Soul. Killing combatants weakened by a Void Soul or a grenade triggers Echo of Harvest, which grants a Void Breach. Grenade kills grant Void weapons Volatile Rounds. After the fireteam clears a wave, interacting with a Void Soul makes it ready again.

Grenade energy comes mainly from the healing rift, which grants grenade energy while a Void Soul drains a target. The main guide is from January 2024 (Season 23), so check newer loadouts before relying on the exact mods.
