Vex Gate

A '''Vex Gate''' is a Vex gateway that links Vex-controlled space to another location. The best known is the Glassway, a massive Vex gateway beneath the surface of Europa in the Rathmore Chaos area.

History

Clovis Bray I built the Glassway to gather Radiolaria and to study 2082 Volantis, a Vex-controlled system on the far side of the gate. Eramis reopened it during the War of Salvation to obtain Radiolaria, which reactivated the gateway.

Transcendent Hydras

The reopening unleashed Belmon, Transcendent Mind, and its army of Transcendent Hydras onto Europa. In the Glassway strike, the Hydra emerges alongside Belmon at the gate, and both must be destroyed to finish the fight.
