Belmon, Transcendent Mind

Overview

Belmon, Transcendent Mind is a Vex Mind and the main boss of The Glassway, a Europa strike from the Beyond Light expansion. Before the Collapse, Clovis Bray built the Glassway, a Vex portal on Europa. When its safeguards failed, Belmon led a Vex army through it. Belmon was destroyed at the end of that battle, but returned with a Transcendent Hydra when Eramis reactivated the portal.

Boss fight

The fight has three phases. In the first, Belmon and its smaller Transcendent Hydra each vanish once they have taken enough damage. In the second, only the Hydra appears with Vex reinforcements, and Belmon respawns with more reinforcements once they are cleared. In the third, which starts after Belmon loses its second health bar, both return together and must both be killed.

At Legend difficulty and above, Belmon can turn its shield into a front-facing semicircle that is immune to all damage until it reverts.
