The Verdant Forest

Overview

The Verdant Forest was a three-player limited-time Story-style activity and the centrepiece of The Revelry, the spring 2019 event during Season of the Drifter. It reskinned the Infinite Forest on Mercury with a springtime theme, and Hive, Fallen, Vex and Cabal enemies appeared. It was launched from the Tower section of the Director rather than from Mercury itself.

Launch and mechanics

• Select the Verdant Forest node on the Director's Tower map. A standard (matchmaking) version and a Firewalled (no matchmaking) version were offered.
• Players had limited time to clear each branch. Clearing branches gave extra time for the end bosses.
• It tied into Eva Levante's Revelry bounties.

Availability

Event-only. It ended with the Revelry event in spring 2019, running until the 30 April reset, and was not carried into later seasons.
