Taken Strength

Overview

Taken Strength is a buff gained in the Morgeth encounter of the Last Wish raid. Taking a Taken orb in the arena adds a Taken Strength counter. More orbs spawn during the fight, and Morgeth builds power until it unleashes a team-wipe attack, so collecting orbs speeds up that timer.

Mechanics

Guardians can hold x2 Taken Strength. Collecting a third orb is fatal. While holding the buff, a player can be caught in a Taken curse attack and held in place until a timer runs out. The Eye of Riven grenade, obtained by killing the shielded Taken Knight, removes the curse. Using the cleanse makes the Eye of Riven holder absorb the Taken Strength buff, which can be fatal if they would reach x3.
