History of Star Baker

Overview

Star Baker is the seal for The Dawning, Destiny 2's winter event. It grants the Star Baker title. Progress resets when the event ends and it is only earned during the event each December. Sportskeeda says the current version is eight triumphs (the page lists twelve across older and newer sets). The seal first appeared in the 2022 Dawning.

Required triumphs

• The First Gift: bake and deliver your first cookie. Reason for the Season: deliver 80 cookies. Cookbook Completionist: bake every recipe and masterwork the oven.
• High Spirits: collect 150 Dawning Spirit. Festive Spirit: spend 200.
• Giver of Gifts: event rank 15; God-Tier Gift Giver: rank 30.
• Icy Optimization: all ten upgrades. Brisk Boss: 10 Snowball Fight matches.
• Ice Cold (300 Stasis kills), POW-der Snow (300 snowball or Shatter kills), Snowball Specialist (300 Stasis or snowball final blows in Master or higher Portal activities).

Gilding

TheGamer's 2022 guide gives four gilding triumphs, each retroactive with the base triumphs and doable in a few hours: Frozen Doom (300 snowball kills, about 100 new), Reason For The Season (100 gifts to vendors, about 50 new), Joyous Spirit (spend 500 Dawning Spirit, about 120 new) and Cheerful Destruction (500 kills with Dawning weapons). Gilding resets each year and the gilding set has changed since; verify in game.
