Shieldbearer

A Shieldbearer is an enemy summoned by Val Ma'rag, the Fallen boss of Season of the Chosen. Ma'rag keeps an Immunity Shield active while a Shieldbearer lives. When he drops to about a third of his health, he moves up the hill and summons one, and he stays unbreachable until it is killed.

Once the Shieldbearer is slain, Ma'rag is vulnerable again, but Hive reinforcements arrive from their territory and can pincer players between two fronts. The cycle repeats at a third of his health, and in the final stage defeating the Shieldbearer again leaves him open.
