Sect of Insight

Overview

Sect of Insight is an Exotic Aeon Cult mod introduced in Season of the Chosen (Season 13). It is obtained automatically when you acquire any of the Aeon Swift, Aeon Soul or Aeon Safe gauntlets, and it can only be socketed in those three. It takes no armor charges and costs no Glimmer to socket.

The Sect of Insight role empowers allies.

Perks

• Aeon's Inspiration: successive precision weapon takedowns have a chance to drop an Orb of Power for allies.
• Armsbearer Chant: finishers generate ammo for the fireteam. Finishing an Elite grants Special ammo, and finishing a boss or miniboss grants Heavy ammo. Nearby Aeon Cult allies without the Sect of Insight role also gain a short-term weapon damage bonus.

Teamwork

The ally perk rewards fireteam members who chose a different Aeon Cult role, so each member of a team should pick a different mod. The other roles are Sect of Force and Sect of Vigor.
