Orb of Power

Overview

An Orb of Power is a white sphere that gives Super energy when collected by running over it. Each orb restores a small amount of Super energy, and players cannot pick one up while their Super meter is full.

Most orbs come from casting Supers and from defeating enemies with Supers or Masterworked weapons. Weapon kills usually generate orbs only on multikills. An orb from an ability falls from the player who cast it, and one from a kill falls from the slain enemy.

Several mods reward collecting orbs without creating them, including Recuperation, Innervation and Absolution. The term replaced Orbs of Light when Destiny 2: Beyond Light introduced Stasis and the Dark subclasses.
