Ruinous Effigy Catalyst

Overview

Ruinous Effigy Catalyst is an Exotic Catalyst Triumph in the Energy Weapons category. Defeat 700 combatants with Ruinous Effigy or its Transmutation spheres to complete the upgrade.

Acquisition

Defeat an enemy with a Transmutation Sphere created by the weapon to obtain the catalyst.

How to complete

Use the beam to create a sphere from a defeated enemy, then pick it up and use its attacks against nearby groups. Alternate beam defeats with sphere attacks until the 700-target counter is complete, then apply the upgrade. The sphere's area attacks can defeat several weaker enemies at once.

Destroying Eyes of Savathûn supplied an alternative route during Season of Arrivals. That seasonal route is historical; use weapon and sphere defeats for this completion path.
