Deconstruction

Deconstruction is an Exotic Trait catalyst perk on Ruinous Effigy, an Exotic Void Trace Rifle from Season 11. Its game text reads: “This weapon deals increased damage against targets damaged by Transmutation spheres.”

The perk is unlocked through the Ruinous Effigy Catalyst, which drops at random when you defeat enemies with Transmutation spheres. Upgrading it requires defeating enemies with the weapon or its spheres. Transmutation is the Ruinous Effigy intrinsic: final blows turn victims into Void spheres, which can be picked up and used as weapons through the Evolution trait.
