Resonant Fury is a Legendary armor set from the Vow of the Disciple raid, a six-player raid added with The Witch Queen. The set comes in Hunter, Titan and Warlock versions, each with its own pieces. The Titan pieces are the Resonant Fury Helm, Resonant Fury Gauntlets, Resonant Fury Plate, Resonant Fury Greaves and Resonant Fury Mark, which make up the Resonant Fury Suit (Titan). The Hunter pieces are the Mask, Grips, Vest, Strides and Cloak (Resonant Fury Suit (Hunter)), and the Warlock pieces are the Cowl, Gloves, Robes, Boots and Bond. Every piece has a General Armor Mod socket, a Combat Style Mod socket and a Vow of the Disciple Raid Mod socket, along with the armor mod sockets for its slot.
Overview
- Classes: Hunter, Titan and Warlock.
- Activity: Vow of the Disciple, the raid that is the set's only source.
- Expansion: The Witch Queen, which the raid requires. The Resonant Fury Suit (Titan) page lists the set under Season 16, and the other sources reviewed do not name a season.
- Element synergy: The set bonuses do not depend on an Arc, Solar, Void or Stasis element, so any element works with them.
Acquisition
The raid drops the set by encounter. Per the Vow of the Disciple loot table, Acquisition drops helmets, chest and leg armor, The Caretaker drops gauntlets and class items, Exhibition drops chest and leg armor, and Rhulk drops helmets, gauntlets and class items. Each encounter gives one weapon or armor drop from its pool. Master difficulty drops the Adept versions of the raid's weapons, and class items do not drop from The Caretaker or Rhulk on Master.
Once the armor is unlocked in Collections, its pieces can be bought from the Lubrae's Ruin vendor for Spoils of Conquest. No focusing option was found in the sources reviewed. No sunset or vault date has been recorded for the set.
Set bonuses
2-piece: Resonant Plating. Your health begins regenerating immediately after you take melee damage from a powerful combatant. This is a passive recovery that works in fights against tougher enemies who hit you in melee.
4-piece: Siphoning Touch. Each weapon or Glaive melee hit adds a stack of Siphoning Touch. Switching weapons heals you and consumes all of your stacks. Melee hits build the stacks and a weapon swap spends them for healing, so the two bonuses reward a melee-heavy playstyle.
Builds and synergies
The sources reviewed do not list tested builds for this set, and none of them name linked exotics, subclass ability setups or fragments that pair with it. Because Siphoning Touch works with both weapon and Glaive melee, builds that use melee attacks often will keep the stacks up. Weapon swaps then convert the stacks into healing.
