Red Herring (triumph)

Overview

The Red Herring (triumph) is a triumph associated with the Red Herring weapon. Completing Deepsight Resonance extractions on this weapon will unlock its Pattern. The triumph tracks Pattern progress as its primary objective. No additional score or rewards are listed in the manifest data.

How to complete

To complete this triumph, players must acquire the Red Herring, a Legendary Void Rocket Launcher introduced in The Witch Queen. The weapon has a chance to drop from Legendary Engrams in Savathûn's Throne World after completing The Witch Queen campaign.

The process involves the following steps:

1. Obtain the Red Herring. The final mission of the campaign grants the single Deepsight Resonance version needed for the pattern.
2. Complete Deepsight Resonance extractions on the weapon.
3. Continue completing extractions until the Pattern progress objective is fulfilled, thereby unlocking the weapon's Pattern.

The weapon's description notes: "Stay focused. If you try to run down every lead, you'll make your head explode."
