Pattern

A Pattern is the progress record that unlocks a weapon for crafting.

Overview

Weapon crafting needs a weapon's pattern. Extracting Deepsight Resonance from a Deepsight Resonant weapon gives one segment of the pattern; dismantling the weapon also gives progress. Each weapon instance can be extracted only once, so you need multiple copies. Most craftable weapons need 2-5 extractions, depending on the weapon; for example Sweet Sorrow, Insidious and Piece of Mind need five. Triumphs such as Abyss Defiant track the five extractions for a weapon.
