Pagida Divided

Overview

Pagida Divided, the Unknown Cipher, is a Vex Cyclops and one of the two bosses at the end of Quarantine in The Edge of Fate. It is paired with Pagida Divided, the Choral Cage. The two circle a large platform while protected by Immunity Shields.

Fight

• Its shield blocks damage until a Matterspark charge destroys a shield Conflux in the middle of the arena. Once the shield is down, the Cipher can be damaged.
• Its partner keeps attacking while the Cipher is invulnerable. Groups of Vex are summoned as its health drops.
• Its listed abilities include Time Distortion, a Slowness effect, and summoning Vex. It is armed with the Chronology Rifle.
• Once the Unknown Cipher is defeated, the fight moves on to the Choral Cage.

Trivia

The name suggests the Cipher was once a single Vex that was split in two. The page says the method and significance of the split are unknown.
