Nightfall
Nightfall: Strange Terrain
Defeat Xol's necromancer, Nokris, and his army of Frozen Hive.
Overview
Warmind strike (May 2018) in the tunnels of Hellas Basin, Mars (Olympus Descent, Penumbral Depths) against the Hive Grasp of Nokris.
Encounters
Hive-infested caverns, destroying crystals that feed Xol, then Nokris, Herald of Xol and the god worm. The Nightfall tier adds tougher enemies such as Thanatologist Ir'handi. Reported as vaulted when Destiny 2: Beyond Light launched on 10 November 2020, though it is still listed as a Nightfall variant.
Rewards
As a Nightfall strike it drops the weekly Nightfall loot pool; the Nightfall Grandmaster tier could drop Adept versions of Nightfall-exclusive weapons (these tiers were removed with The Edge of Fate).
