May You Never Cease

Overview

May You Never Cease is a Triumph in Destiny 2 from Season of the Witch. It requires completing the tests in the Imbaru Engine, a puzzle area built by Savathun that launches from the H.E.L.M. in the Altars of Summoning. The Imbaru Engine holds three gift puzzles: Gift of Cunning, Gift of Strength and Gift of Navigation. Completing the triumph is also required for the Haruspex title.

How to complete

1. Start the Imbaru Engine from the H.E.L.M.. The Gift of Cunning is available first, at week 5 of the campaign (step 35).
2. Gift of Cunning: open only the chests marked with the X-shaped Hive rune. Opening the wrong chest kills you and resets the chests. A chest tracker mod on your Ghost helps.
3. Gift of Strength: find the hidden Minor Arcana card at the end of Savathun's Spire. It sits beside a portal on the right, in the room with the final three doors. Use it at the Lectern. Defeat only the enemies the plates point to, skipping one each time. Killing the wrong enemy activates Shriekers, which kill you and reset the room.
4. Gift of Navigation: destroy the crystal held by the Savathun statue in the Altars of Summoning to reveal a second Minor Arcana card, then use it at the Lectern. Bring Hard Light. Match the rune and energy type on your entry door, shoot the same rune on another door, then go through the portal. Some runes are hidden behind others, so move around to see them all.

Trivia

The bowls in the later "A Parting Gift" puzzle carry lines such as "This flame burns within the mist below…", "This flame burns within the halls of the Spire…" and "This flame burns within the Altars of Summoning…"
