Legendary Whisper

Overview

Legendary Whisper is a Triumph with a value of 5 points. The objective requires the player to complete the Exotic mission The Whisper on Expert difficulty or higher within the Pinnacle Ops activity.

The Whisper is a secret Exotic mission on Io, where a Taken anomaly is hidden beneath the surface.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, the player must finish the The Whisper mission. The completion must occur on Expert difficulty or a higher tier. This activity is part of the Pinnacle Ops game mode.

1. The quest can be triggered during any Public Event in Lost Oasis.
2. The Legend version keeps the 20-minute limit and adds Shielded Foes, Overloaded Taken Hobgoblins and Unstoppable Taken Phalanxes.
3. Reports from 2024 describe the Whisper of the Worm quest step on Legend. Small floating Taken blights appear in certain areas and can only be destroyed with the Whisper of the Worm. All three must be shot with it to advance the questline. Players reported finishing the mission in about 12 minutes.

Rewards

Completing the original mission rewards the Whisper of the Worm, an Exotic Sniper Rifle. On Legend, destroying all of the blights and then finishing the mission awards both pieces of the Whisper of the Worm's enhanced intrinsic and the Karve of the Worm jumpship.
