Expert

Overview

Expert is a 20-point Triumph in Destiny 2 that requires completing a Nightfall strike on Expert difficulty. Expert is one of the difficulty tiers for Nightfall strikes, sitting above the entry tier and below Grandmaster.

The Nightfall triumphs and metrics were deprecated in Update 9.7.0. Existing progress was kept, but these triumphs can no longer be earned.

How to complete

1. Open the Nightfall strike from the Vanguard playlist and set the difficulty to Expert.
2. Matchmade Expert runs require Power 300 to enter.
3. Finish the strike on Expert. One completion counts toward the triumph.

Higher tiers give more upgrade materials, such as Enhancement Cores, Enhancement Prisms and Ascendant Shards, but Expert completion is the only requirement for this triumph.
