Legacy: The Witch Queen

Overview

Legacy: The Witch Queen is the long post-campaign story quest of The Witch Queen. Ikora Rey sends the Guardian through the memories of Savathûn's Throne World to recover the memory tied to Sagira's shell and to deal with the Witness. The quest runs for roughly 19 steps (several hours) and is given by Fynch/Ikora Rey on Mars and in the Tower. The original version of the quest is a Season 16 legendary quest; this page tracks the "Legacy" listing of it.

Walkthrough

1. Complete the "The Ghosts" mission.
2. Speak with Ikora Rey in the Enclave on Mars.
3. Complete "The Communion" mission at the Europan Pyramid (fight through Cabal to reach it).
4. Speak with Ikora Rey in the Enclave on Mars again.
5. Complete "The Mirror" mission.
6. Speak with Fynch in the Throne World.
7. Complete "The Lightblade" Strike.
8. Return to the Altar of Reflection in Witch's Echo, Throne World. An orange portal near the start of Witch's Echo takes you directly to the room with the Altar portal.
9. Speak with Ikora Rey in the Enclave on Mars.
10. Complete "The Cunning" mission, then return to the Altar of Reflection and speak with Ikora on Mars.
11. Complete "The Last Chance" mission, then return to the Altar of Reflection.
12. Meet with the Vanguard in Zavala's office in the Tower.
13. Speak with Ikora in the Tower, then on Mars.
14. Complete "The Ritual" mission.
15. Speak with Ikora on Mars to finish the quest.

Rewards

• Weapons across the steps including the Empirical Evidence sidearm and Red Herring rocket launcher.
• All players gain the Osteo Striga weapon pattern on completion.
• Completing the campaign on Legendary difficulty offers a choice of one of two Exotic armor pieces for your class (for example Loreley Splendor Helm or Hoarfrost-Z for Titans).
• Unlocks the follow-up Exotic quest Of Queens and Worms.
