Altar of Reflection

Overview

The Altar of Reflection is a private dimension within Witch's Echo, an area of Savathûn's Throne World, where memories tied to certain objects can be unlocked. It is introduced in the The Witch Queen campaign mission "The Mirror", where the Guardian finds the Altar's portal in Witch's Echo, guided by the Vanguard. It is accessed through missions, and it is protected by illusions, garrisons and Lucent Brood champions.

Activity

After the campaign, the Altar becomes a weekly activity. Completing it awards 250 Throne World reputation and a Powerful gear drop. Two puzzles must be solved:

• Cursed Pools: Stand in the centre of the room. Four Hive runes appear in circles, and larger Hive runes spawn around the room above green pools. Step into the pools in the same order the runes appear on the stone wall. There is no time limit.
• Rune Patterns: Eight columns are shown, and three contain incorrect runes. Find the pattern, then shoot the columns that break it. A wrong answer resets the puzzle.

The puzzles change each week, including their locations and variations.
