Lead by Example

Overview

Lead by Example is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that requires earning the Chain of Command machine gun. It is a Stasis Legendary Machine Gun that uses heavy ammo and was the ritual weapon of Season of the Haunted. Completing the triumph awards 25 Triumph Score.

How to complete

1. Reach rank 16 with one of the three vendors who sell the weapon. Commander Zavala requires Vanguard Operations, Lord Shaxx requires Crucible matches, and The Drifter requires Gambit matches.
2. Get Chain of Command from that vendor. All three vendors offer the same roll of the weapon.

Tips

Resetting your rank with each vendor unlocks an activity-exclusive ornament, so there is extra reason to rank up with all three. After Season of the Haunted ended, the weapon could be bought from the Monument to Lost Lights in the Tower.
