IX.II: The Unmaking

Overview

IX.II: The Unmaking is the second lore Triumph of "The Unmaking" in the Inquisition of the Damned lore book, added with Shadowkeep in October 2019. It is also tagged under The Logic of the Sword. The entry is a third-person account centred on Malkanth, who carries out the events. It covers the Choir's attack on a hidden homeworld, which split in two less than an hour after the Song began.

Malkanth performs the Inquisition of Self on her sister Azavath while she is restrained, intending to move the essence of Akrazul into Azavath's body so he can challenge Zulmak in the Pit of Heresy. The entry is the one that sets up the failed ritual.

How to complete

The entry is a lore pickup on the Moon. It is lore item 13 of 14, found at The Gatehouse. The pickups are Hive scrolls, found while on patrol or in the Pit of Heresy. Pickup locations may have changed since launch, so check the Triumphs menu for the current list.

Rewards

None beyond the triumph itself.
