III. Amanda Dreams

Overview

III. Amanda Dreams is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that reveals a lore entry in the From the Front book, added in Season of the Chosen in February 2021.

The entry is a fragmented, dreamlike vignette centred on Amanda Holliday. Young Amanda travels with her ailing father, pulling a cart through a landscape of wrecked vehicles and skeletal remains. She struggles to recall her mother's face and keeps a spent shotgun shell as a reminder against forgetting. Her father dies and she is left alone. The entry closes with her waking in the Last City beneath the Traveler. These childhood memories are the source of the nightmares Amanda has later on.
