Overview

II. RATIONS is a triumph in Destiny 2 that presents chapter II of the lore book Call of the Cryptolith. The book was introduced in Season of the Hunt during Beyond Light. The chapter is third-person narration focused on Savek, a Dreg on the salvage crew.

Lore

At dusk on the Tangled Shore, the salvage crew makes camp around a downed Ketch, and the Dregs post sentries. Each crew member receives an Ether ration, but Kosis takes far more than Savek, who is resentful. Later Savek is woken for a night watch and hears a whisper calling from beyond the dune. She follows it to a small cave and finds a black tower poking out of the ground.
