Hellas Basin (activity)

Overview

This is the free-roam "Explore" entry for Hellas Basin, a destination on Mars introduced in the Warmind expansion. Selecting it from the Director flies you directly to the Landing Zone. Hellas Basin holds the BrayTech Futurescape and Rasputin, overrun by the Hive, with a BrayTech Futurescape landing zone to the north and a Glacial Drift landing zone to the south.

Activities

Public events: Injection Rig, Warsat Down, Witches' Ritual and Escalation Protocol. Lost Sectors: Core Terminus and Ma'adim Subterrane. Sleeper Nodes can be collected for the exotic sword Worldline Zero.

Status

Mars was moved into the Destiny Content Vault with Destiny 2: Beyond Light, so this free roam is not currently playable, though the Hellas Basin appears in activities such as Heist Battleground: Mars and the Lawless Frontier jobs (see also Destiny 2: Renegades).
